The U.S. National Science Foundation's Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization provides small and small disadvantaged businesses — including veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, HUBZone, and women-owned small businesses — with extensive practicable opportunities to participate in agency acquisitions.
What we do
- Support NSF policies, procedures, and training programs to emphasize the agency's commitment to contracting with small businesses.
- Develop and implement appropriate outreach programs aimed at increasing the small-business community's awareness of the contracting opportunities at NSF.
- Participate in trade group seminars, conventions, and other forums promoting the utilization of small and small disadvantaged owned businesses as federal contractors.
- Assist small business concerns to obtain payments, required late payment interest penalties, or information regarding payments due to such concerns.
