All proposals must be submitted in accordance with the requirements specified in this funding opportunity and in the NSF Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG) that is in effect for the relevant due date to which the proposal is being submitted. It is the responsibility of the proposer to ensure that the proposal meets these requirements. Submitting a proposal prior to a specified deadline does not negate this requirement.

STEM Education Individual Postdoctoral Research Fellowship: New December Deadline

The Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Education Individual Postdoctoral Research Fellowships (STEMEdIPRF) solicitation NSF 23-544 has a new deadline. The deadline for the next competition is December 5, 2023. In future years, the deadline will fall on the first Tuesday of December.

The STEM Education Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program supports professional development activities for postdoctoral fellows to position them for careers as STEM education research scholars and to develop their expertise in STEM education research design and methods. Awards funded through this solicitation provide direct support to Fellows to enable them to engage in ongoing research, to develop independent research, and to implement an independent professional development plan under the guidance of a sponsoring researcher. Fellows must affiliate with an appropriate host organization and are expected to devote themselves full time to the fellowship activities for the duration of the fellowship.
