Important information for proposers

All proposals must be submitted in accordance with the requirements specified in this funding opportunity and in the NSF Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG) that is in effect for the relevant due date to which the proposal is being submitted. It is the responsibility of the proposer to ensure that the proposal meets these requirements. Submitting a proposal prior to a specified deadline does not negate this requirement.

Human Networks and Data Science Program proposal guidelines updated

The guidelines for submitting proposals to the Human Networks and Data Science Program have been updated.

Changes include:

  • The Human Networks and Data Science Infrastructure track (HNDS-I) now has a second annual deadline in August.
  • Language about budget ranges has been clarified.

Note that most submissions to the Human Networks and Data Science Core Research (HNDS-R) track come in through other SBE programs and should follow the submission dates for those programs. Direct submissions to HNDS-R require prior permission from the program officers.
