Important information for proposers

All proposals must be submitted in accordance with the requirements specified in this funding opportunity and in the NSF Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG) that is in effect for the relevant due date to which the proposal is being submitted. It is the responsibility of the proposer to ensure that the proposal meets these requirements. Submitting a proposal prior to a specified deadline does not negate this requirement.

Broadening Participation Research Centers Proposal Development - Preliminary Proposal Focus (slides available here) – Note: The required Preliminary Proposal Deadline is the 4th Tuesday in March, and the full proposal is due the 4th Thursday in November in even years.

Research on Broadening Participation in STEM (BPR) (slides available here), Implementation Projects (IMP) (slides available here), and Targeted Infusion Projects (TIP) Proposal Development (slides available here) – Note: The required Letter of Intent Deadline is the 2nd Tuesday in September, and the full proposal is due the 2nd Thursday in November.

Research Initiation Awards (RIA) Proposal Development (slides available here) – Note: The required Letter of Intent Deadline is the 4th Tuesday in July, and the full proposal is due the first Tuesday in October.
