Farewell Message to Staff from NSF Director Dr. France Córdova

Dr. France A. Córdova, 14th Director of the National Science Foundation (NSF) delivers a farewell message to NSF staff in the final week of her six-year term as Director of NSF. Córdova is an astrophysicist and has been a leader in science, engineering and education for more than three decades. She has a distinguished career in both higher education and government. Córdova is president emerita of Purdue University, and chancellor emerita of the University of California, Riverside, where she was a distinguished professor of physics and astronomy. Córdova was the vice chancellor for research and professor of physics at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Córdova served as NSF Director, March 30, 2014 to March 31, 2020.
