About the series
All active NSF SBIR/STTR Phase II and Phase IIB grantees are required to attend the Phase II Grantees Conference scheduled to take place from May 17-20 at the Sheraton Baltimore City Center Hotel in Baltimore, MD. This annual conference is an opportunity for small businesses that have received NSF SBIR/STTR Phase II awards and supplements to share their technical and commercial achievements with the NSF program staff, potential investors and strategic partners, as well as having an opportunity to network with other small businesses for possible collaborations to grow their businesses. It also provides an opportunity to learn about new supplemental funding opportunities available to our Phase II grantees.
At the 2010 SBIR/STTR Phase II Grantees Conference, all grantees are required to either participate in the Poster Session or the Sector Presentations, depending on the date of the award. Recipients of Phase II awards made prior to May 1, 2009 will be scheduled for a Sector Presentation. Grantees with awards made after May 1, 2009 will participate in the Poster Session. All grantees will be scheduled for a 15 minute one-on-one meeting with their NSF Program Director. If you have more than one active Phase II grant from NSF, these requirements apply to each award individually. You will also have a one-on-one meeting scheduled for each award.
