Plant Genome Research Program Informational Webinar

About this event

The Plant Genome Research Program (PGRP) Webinar will discuss pertinent changes to the program, including new opportunities, changes in eligibility, and new submission guidelines.

The National Science Foundation recently released a new solicitation for the Plant Genome Research Program (NSF 16-614). Proposals within programmatic scope for the PGRP may now be submitted any day, any time, without any change to the review process. The foundational research areas remain focused on basic genome-wide research and the development of tools and resources to enable genome-wide investigation of economically important plants. Two Challenge Grant opportunities are now offered.  In addition, two career development opportunities remain available  for early and mid-career investigators.  Full details will be provided in the webinar, and additional information is available on the PGRP program summary page, in the solicitation (NSF 16-614), and in the Frequently Asked Questions document (NSF 17-017).

During the webinar, Program Directors from the PGRP will provide an overview of major changes and will be available to answer questions from participants.

The webinar will be hosted by WebEx November 1, 2016, 2:00PM - 4:00PM EDT.

Free registration is required by accessing the following link (register any time prior to the webinar):
