NSF's Green Day Event

About the series

The National Science Foundation (NSF) is proud to sponsor Green Day - a day when we come together with local agencies, organizations, and our colleagues to showcase and discuss the ways in which we can help make a positive environmental impact at work, on the road, and at home.

Over 25 vendors will be on hand to showcase "learning stations" on alternative fuel, conservation, gardening, and alternative mass transit options, including electric bikes!

We'll also have speakers from the Department of Energy, NSF's Directorates for Computer & Information Science & Engineering (CISE) and Mathematical & Physical Sciences (MPS) deliver presentations on Energy Efficiency and the Renewable Energy Program, Virtual and Tele-Panel Meetings, and the Story of Stuff, respectively.

When: Wednesday, October 29, 2008, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Where: The NSF Atrium

Cost: Free and Open to Everyone!

So, join us on October 29th at NSF - Where Discoveries Begin!
