Join the NSF Division of Chemistry at a town hall meeting to be held at the 242nd national meeting of the American Chemical Society in Denver, Colorado. Representatives from multiple federal funding agencies will attend to participate in a discussion on the state of federal funding for scientific research. Meeting attendees will have an opportunity to meet with program managers from various agencies to discuss federal research and education programs and opportunities. The town hall meeting will take place on Monday August 29, 2011 from 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm at the Colorado Convention Center, Rooms 201-203 on the lobby level.
The Division of Chemistry will also host a "Speed Coaching" event where participants meet with NSF program managers for up to 15 minutes one-on-one to discuss any topic related to NSF research and education programs and funding opportunities. The "Speed Coaching" event will take place on Tuesday August 30, 2011 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the Colorado Convention Center, Room 605 on the lobby level. Registration is not required, but participants may sign-up for a time slot at the town hall meeting on Monday.
