All new SBIR Phase I grantees with NSF awards made on July 1, 2011 are required to attend the Fall 2011 NSF SBIR Phase I Grantees Workshop scheduled for September 28-29, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City Hotel in Arlington, VA. The workshop program will include a variety of presentations and discussions led by NSF Program Directors and staff, as well as a mandatory one-on-one meeting with the NSF Program Director. You will also learn about the Phase IB matching supplement and have an opportunity to meet with your assigned Commercialization Planning Assistance contractor. The primary focus of this workshop is to educate grantees on managing their Phase I award and developing their Phase II proposal and Commercialization Plan.
New STTR Phase I awardees with grants issued on July 1, 2011 should plan to attend the Phase I Workshop in the spring of 2012.
