Please register now for one of four virtual webinars with program officers from the National Science Foundation who will be talking about securing funding for research, scholarships and educational improvements for undergraduate students in the behavioral, economic, and social sciences.
The sessions will be on Friday’s during March from 3 to 4:15 PM (EST.) Each event will begin with an information session, followed by Q&A. Please register in advance for the following events:
March 10, 2023: Directorate for STEM Education Overview
The purpose of this session is to provide a general overview of NSF funding across the Directorate of STEM Education. This session is ideal for behavioral, economic, social science faculty and their administrators who would like to better understand educational funding opportunities through NSF including targeted funding for Minority Serving Institutions, Community Colleges, and Predominately Undergraduate Serving Institutions.
March 17, 2023: Improving Undergraduate Education in Behavioral, Economics, and Social Sciences
Do you have an idea on how to improve student support, teaching practices, curricula, or organizational wellbeing in a way that improves outcomes for undergraduate students either taking general education courses or majoring in the behavioral, economics, or social sciences? Come to this session and learn about funding opportunities to support such initiatives, efforts, and research.
March 24, 2023: Scholarships for Undergraduate and Graduate Students
Learn about the S-STEM program, which provides funding for low-income students majoring in STEM, including behavioral, economics, and social sciences. Few grants can have this kind of impact on your students!
March 31, 2023: Funding for Research in Teaching and Learning
Are you a behavioral, economics, or social scientist conducting research that could have educational implications? You could be eligible for funding for that research. Come to this session to learn about how to secure funding to advance your research that has educational implications.
