About this event
This is a bi-annual meeting of the industry advisory board and center members to assess ongoing research and set priorities for new research directions. Visitors interested in membership are welcome if they are willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
the first meeting of CRIS will be held on Jan 21st and 22nd, simultaneously by videoconference, at the Digital Technology Center in MN and at UCSC in CA. Active and proposed research projects for 2010 will be reviewed and discussed.
CRIS ( http://www.cris.us/ ) is an NSF sponsored multi-university Industry / University Cooperative Research Center ( http://www.nsf.gov/eng/iip/iucrc/ ) between the University of Minnesota and the University of California at Santa Cruz.
We expect good attendance from both active members and companies considering membership in CRIS. If you have a potential interest in joining CRIS please attend. Some parts of agenda on Day 2 dealing with by-laws etc. will be for active members only.
