The Featured file component provides download links for files along with metadata like a thumbnail, short description, and date.
Thumbnails, short descriptions, and publish date are all optional. You can choose to display publish dates (via a checkbox on the Drupal form).
When to use featured file
- If the files you're sharing deserve emphasis or attention.
- When you'd like the thumbnail, short description, or publish date to display with the file download link.
When to use something different
- If a large number of files are being shared (try the Related links with files or Text components).
Featured file options
You can add multiple featured files to one Featured file component. This is an optional heading field.
